Pyments Project Monitoring for Morgan Sindall’s 40 Chancery Lane Project

Morgan Sindall are the Main Contractor for the redevelopment of 40 Chancery Lane,  on behalf of client Derwent London. On completion, the building will provide around 100,000 sq.ft of office space for single or multiple tenants.

All bar one of the buildings on site have been demolished to make way for a seven storey modern, energy-efficient office building, although some elements of an original Georgian/Victorian facade have been retained to the rear (Took’s Court) which will be refurbished and incorporated into the scheme around an internal atrium.

The build constitutes a concrete frame with specialist travertine stone and glass cladding, shell and core fit out to ‘Cat A’ standard.  Pyments have been commissioned to provide our Project Monitoring Service to monitor progress of the core fit-out, Mechanical and Electrical works and general building progress.
