Temple Point Building – Bristol

Pyments were commissioned to assist the Main Contractor with Pyments Specialist Reporting Service on the 76,000 sq.ft grade A redevelopment of the Temple Point prime office building in the Temple quarter of Bristol city centre.

Located in a prominent position in proximity to Temple Meads train station, Network Rail sublet the building and remained in occupation throughout.

The 6.5 million design and build project comprised a phased refurbishment and Cat B fit out works; Works included a demolition soft strip; increasing the height of reception from 1.5 to two storeys; full refurbishment; removal of the terracotta fin over reception; extending the new two-storey glazed facade to ‘wrap’ the entrance plaza and new reception; increasing the bike storage provision and cycling routes and upgrading the landscaping.

The Main Contractor completed the works to the five storey building in phases mitigating disruption to the buildings tenants, with sectional handover to the customer.
